GBS Procure

Gary has over 15 years experience in Social Housing, is a member of CIPS and is passionate about delivering good procurement outcomes. Throughout his time in the sector he delivered a wide range of procurement services, both within Orbit and to many clients through Orbit's consultancy arm. Gary will work with you to deliver improved procurement outcomes by embedding a strategic approach to procurement including effective approaches to Spend Analytics, Category Management, Sourcing and Supplier Management to support the delivery of business plan outcomes. Gary is also very experienced in delivering individual tenders.

Syed joined GBS Procure in February 2024 having previously worked for Frontier Works Organisation (one of the leading construction organisation in Asia) as Senior Deputy Manager Procurement. He was responsible for procurement and supply of construction materials i.e. Steel, Cement, Bitumen and asphalt on all the large projects undertaken by FWO. Syed is keen to utilise his knowledge, experience, and skills for GBS Procure in the delivery of procurement projects for its customers.

John, since joining GBS Procure, has very much enjoyed supporting Gary and the team in an admin capacity delivering continued professional services to all of our clients. He has recently been focused on documenting the procurement process in support of best practice and ongoing continuous improvement within GBS Procure. John continues to expand his knowledge in all aspects of procurement to enable him to better support our clients and the team. He has always brought commitment, focus and attention to detail to previous roles and will be continuing in that same vain.

Tom joined GBS Procure in September 2021 having previously worked in procurement for both Entegra Europe and Sodexo. He has worked with the supply chain on behalf of both public and private sector clients including international hotel groups, healthcare, justice services, schools and universities, and prestigious sporting events. Tom is excited to be working with customers to manage their planned procurement programmes, developing his project management skills through working on a range of projects simultaneously.

Lewis joined GBS Procure in March 2023 as a project management apprentice following the completion of his A levels in July 2022. He has completed his apprenticeship with Heart of England Training achieving a Merit in his Level 4 Associate Project Management Qualification. He has recently started his CIPS studies as he continues to develop and take on more responsibility at GBS Procure.

Teresa worked in the Social Housing sector for 16 years, 12 of those being in procurement. She worked with Gary at Orbit for approximately 8 years before he moved on, their paths crossing again back in 2021. Since rejoining working with Gary, she has continued working in the public sector but also branched out supporting the private sector. Teresa has assisted Gary in delivering a wide range of procurement services with various customers and looks forward supporting him to deliver any procurement business objectives with existing and new customers.
